Mention your driving area in the contract

It’s always best to mention your driving zones in your monthly rental contract. It saves you from any trouble later on. Before handing you the vehicle, the rental service provider adjusts the tracking limits so you can drive freely.

Call the car rental service spot on

If you have to move out of your driving zone and it’s an emergency, you can contact your car rental service provider. Explain to them your situation and request them to remove the tracker from the vehicle. They will not deactivate the tracker but increase the tracker range to a different zone by reaching out to the tracking company.

Never try to plug out the tracker

Many impulsive individuals try to plug out the tracker from the vehicle by cutting off its power. It’s not a good idea. Most trackers are mapped with the car engine and other systems. If you try to dead the tracker, you will be in a huge mess. It can impact car performance and other operations.

Moreover, the tracking company will discover any mishandling with the tracker. They will dispatch the car’s location to the police, and you will be caught in no time. It’s better to stick with the right way of turning off the tracker.

Avoid calling the tracking company on your own!

If you try to call the tracking company directly and ask them to turn off the tracker, they will suspect you of robbery and will lock the car. You will be in a big mess and have to pay the price. It’s better to avoid any such action.
